Thermoformed pipettes
1. Clear Spot-on must be applied at 2 points – at the base of the back of the
dog’s head and between the shoulder blades. If the dog is wearing a collar
remove it first so that it does not restrict application.
2. Hold pipette upright and snap off the top section of the cap opening the pipette.
3. Part your dog’s coat until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly
against the skin and squeeze gently. Apply approximately half of the pipette
at the back of the dog’s neck and half between the dog’s shoulders. Squeeze
the pipette several times to ensure dosing is complete. Avoid applying onto
the fur and do not rub into the skin as this will reduce the product’s
performance. Do not allow pets to lick each other after treatment.

Remove the pipette from the blister packaging. Hold the pipette in an upright position
and snap off the top section of the cap, thereby opening the pipette.
Part your dog’s coat until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly against
the bared skin and squeeze gently. Empty approximately half the contents at each of
two points along the dog’s back, preferably at the base of the head and between the
shoulder blades. Squeeze the pipette several times to ensure dosing is complete.

Application of the solution as directed minimises the possibility that the animal will lick
the solution off. Do not allow pets to lick each other after treatment.
Care should be taken to avoid excessive wetting of the hair with the product since this
will cause a sticky appearance of hairs at the treatment spot. However, should this
occur, it will usually disappear within 24-48 hours post application. Crystals may be
seen on the hair and slight scaling may occur within 24-48 hours after application.
Where treating young animals, do not use this product on puppies of less than 2
months of age. and ensure that the correct product is used
based on the weight of the puppy. This product would treat a puppy weighing 10 -
20kg. Do not use on puppies weighing less than 10 kg.
Treatment schedule:
The minimum interval between two treatments is 4 weeks, but longer intervals may

mainly to the solvents in the product.
Among the extremely rare suspected adverse reactions, short duration skin reactions
at the application site (scaly skin, hair loss at the application site, skin irritation, itching
and reddening) and general skin irritation or hair loss have been reported after use.
Rarely, excessive drooling / salivation, and reversible nervous signs (e.g. excitability,
depression) or vomiting have been observed after use.
effectiveness of the product in these cases has not been tested.
The product does not prevent ticks from attaching to the animals. Ticks will be killed
and fall off the host within 48 hours after infestation without having had a blood meal
as a rule but an attachment of single ticks after treatment cannot be excluded. A
transmission of infectious diseases by ticks cannot thus be completely excluded. Once
dead, ticks will often drop off the animal, but any remaining ticks may easily be
removed by a gentle pull.
Fleas from pets often infest the animal's basket, bedding and regular resting areas
such as carpets and soft furnishings which should be treated, in case of massive
infestation and at the beginning of the control measures, with a suitable insecticide
and vacuumed regularly.
For optimal control of flea infestation in multi-pet household, all dogs and cats in the
household should be treated with a suitable insecticide.
Special precautions for use in animals
Animals should be weighed accurately prior to treatment.
Avoid contact with the animal’s eyes. In the case of accidental eye contact,
immediately and thoroughly flush the eyes with water.
It is important to make sure that the product is applied to an area where the animal
cannot lick it off, and to make sure that animals do not lick each other following
treatment.
Do not apply the product on wounds or damaged skin.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal
product to animals

water. If eye irritation persists seek medical advice and show the package leaflet or
the label to the physician.
