For dogs, Drontal Plus contains febantel, pyrantel embonate and praziquantel, covering roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms. For cats, Drontal Cat contains pyrantel embonate and praziquantel, covering roundworms and tapeworms.
Drontal has been the go-to wormer for UK pet owners for over 30 years. It acts quickly, typically clearing intestinal worms within 24-48 hours of a single dose. The bone-shaped, meat-flavoured tablets for dogs are highly palatable, and the film-coated tablets for cats can be given whole or crushed into food.
