Overview
Petgevity provides lifetime pet insurance designed for pets whose conditions are often excluded elsewhere. The Lifetime Plus policy can cover pre-existing conditions (with declaration), including ongoing issues such as cruciate ligament problems, allergies, ear infections and digestive conditions, and there is no upper age limit on new Lifetime Plus policies. Annual vet fee cover ranges from £1,000 to £15,000, with the limit resetting on renewal. Add-on options include Dental Illness, FirstVet 24/7 video consultations, Missing Pet cover, Farewell cover and Travel cover. A single policy can cover up to eight pets. Petgevity is a trading name of TICORP Limited and is administered in the UK by Howserv Limited.

Editor's Verdict
A useful option for pet owners who have been turned away by mainstream insurers. With pre-existing condition cover on Lifetime Plus, no upper age limit, and vet fee cover up to £15,000, Petgevity fills a real gap in the market. Premiums tend to be higher to reflect that risk, but for many owners it is the only option available.
